Established in Yeovil for over 35 years, Furlong Motorcycle Tyres have offered Mobile Car, Van and 4x4 Tyre Fitting since 2006.
We now offer an internet booking service. You don’t pay online, just place your booking and you’ll be able to select a date to have your tyres fitted, and make a payment once you are completely happy.
When we fit tyres we go the extra mile to do the job properly, the extra processes take more time, but mean the tyres work better for you.
We clean the inside of the wheel where the tyre seals against the rim, so you don't get slow annoying leaks. An under inflated tyre uses more fuel and wears the tyre prematurely.
We balance perfectly and only use sticky wheel weights, and not ugly clip on ones, that scratch paint and cause corrosion.
We clean off corrosion and copper grease the mounting surface of the brake disc/drum, so dissimilar metal corrosion won't lock your wheel to the car when you try removing it on an unstable scissor jack.
We use a traditional torque wrench so your wheel nuts aren't over or under tightened.
We jack up your car using wooden tops on our jacks so there is no damage to the underside of your car, in fact we guarantee no damage to wheel, tyre or car!
